I have over nineteen years experience working in education and marketing environments. My career in multimedia started off with teaching web design, animating, and digital photography. Work evolved to include website development and support, creating online education resources and tools, and successfully building audio and visual production capabilities that included video and podcast production for the organizations I have worked with.
During this time, I discovered a passion for helping colleagues and clients build upon their own skill sets, guiding their vision to create engaging content, and to provide valuable support for project success. By taking a personalized approach to understand an individual's perspective, comfort level, and tech savvy; I am able to help individuals become comfortable and confident to use various technologies to fit their project requirements and budget.
Borrowed from the Irish, Corey is a name of more than one derivation. It is the transferred use of the surname derived from the Gaelic coire (a cauldron, a seething pool, a hollow): hence, “dweller in or near a hollow.” - Baby Name Wizard

“In increasingly siloed organization, it is refreshing to know people willing to bridge those divides at NorQuest College. Corey, the Multimedia Developer (and videographer) in marketing, would willingly advise me (a keen amateur) and make available the necessary studio equipment.”

“Corey is the talented technical producer behind the Back to School Again podcast. In addition to ensuring a high-quality audio product, Corey was a creative collaborator in helping shape elements of the show. He's amazing with guests and making sure everyone feels comfortable before hitting ‘record’. It's a joy working with Corey - he's a true professional and a really nice person as well!”
